Book Review; The Bachelor Prince

Every so often I get the urge to read something light, fun, and romantic - and this book was all three!

The Bachelor Prince by Debbie Macomber (June 1994)

Goodreads says...

Prince Stefano is a man most girls could only dream of meeting. And now the very handsome—and very eligible—bachelor is in America searching for the girl he will someday make his bride.

Hope Jordan's prince has finally come—but there's no happy ending in sight. Her royal suitor needs a wealthy wife to save his country from ruin, but Hope has nothing to offer Stefano. Except her love…

My thoughts...

I borrowed this book from the library because I wanted a light-hearted read, and because I love anything that has to do with royalty. It was really cute. At only 120 pages it was a quick, easy read. It kept my attention from beginning to end, though it was a little predictable. If you're looking for a fun, quick, light-hearted read I would definitely recommend The Bachelor Prince.

Happy reading!

  1. If you're looking for a cute, quick romance novel, check out "Stealing the Groom" by Sonya Weiss. It was really cute. She's a friend of a friend of mine. I'm excited because she's supposed to be writing two more books to go along with it - stories of the sisters of the girl featured in this one. The only downfall is that it is currently ONLY available digitally - I downloaded the Kindle app for my phone to read it. One UPSIDE is that it's pretty inexpensive - under $4 on Amazon right now! :)

I need to get more into reading. Maybe I'll pick up something by this Debbie Macomber. I've heard she's good!

  2. Just saw this, Sidny. Thank you so much for recommending the book. I can't believe the third book in the series is done and will be out in December. I'm thinking of writing Elliot's story and offering that as a bonus freebie. I'll have to check about that, though.
